At the dinner table
This is at the dinner table when Sterling was trying to cut his beef...the kid should get a sharper knife...
Lesson 4(?)
Allison and Morgan are trying to learn how to "cream" the butter and sugar. Not working out. We thought it meant....we didn't know what it meant...But for u smart people...it means mix the butter and sugar. Ya.
We are attempting to make chocolate chip cookies, although we don't have sugar, after dinner. We will post the results after they're done....

Lesson.... I'm not sure what lesson this is.....
Okay.... first, if you ever decide to make hot chocolate... and are too lazy to use the stove (ahem clauds... and me!!!) then you should never ever EVER decide to put the metal kettle in the microwave. IT WILL CATCH ON FIRE AND BREAK THE MICROWAVE!!!!!!!!!! AAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a lesson we learned the hard way. LOL!!!

Lesson 2
Another mistake we made (ahem Alley) was that because we didn't have any cocoa powder for our frosting, we decided that melted chocolate would be the best substitute. We decided to melt the chocolate in the microwave, but unfortunately, someone thought it took 10 minutes to melt. The result wasn't great.
Lesson 1
The first thing you have to know about cooking is that there is a very big difference between the stove and the oven. This is a mistake that Alley made, which probably almost killed us.
